Inspiring Students To Reach Their Potential

The Visionary...

Bishop Reginald D. Jordan is a "man after God's own heart." Just like King David, he is a shepherd who diligently oversees and loves those whom God has given to his charge, and he thoroughly enjoys the praise, worship, and celebration of the Most High God.

Bishop Jordan is a proud native of Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on June 23, 1964, and was raised in the south side neighborhood of the city by his mother, Doris Hines. He grew up in a family with an enormous musical ability that fostered his musical giftings. His musical giftings became the catalyst for his call to the ministry.

September 27, 1991 marked the beginning of Pastor's preaching journey. He received his first opportunity to operate in the office of Pastor at St. John Baptist Church in Greenville, TX. After serving as Pastor of St. John for nearly two years, God told him to return unto the land of his kindred and he lead his wife and family back to Fort Worth to launch Inspiring Temple of Praise Church (ITOP) on March 10, 1996.

Since the establishment of ITOP Bishop Jordan has been blessed to achieve a number of accomplishments including a live recording of the Inspiring Temple of Praise Singers CD 'Be Inspired' in 2003, being installed as the Tarrant County District Overseer of the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship in 2004, founding Churches In Covenant in 2007, and the consecration of his Bishopric in 2008. Bishop Jordan is also an author, penning four books to date including Oh, That I May Know Him, Joy to the Seventh Power, Revealing the Hidden Truth About Transparency, and In The Thick Of It.

Bishop Jordan is married to Lady Alfreita Jordan and he is the proud father of three beautiful daughters - Anita, Vivian, and Briahna. God has truly blessed the Inspiring Temple of Praise Church family, Fort Worth, and the entire Body of Christ with one of His very best in the anointed, gifted, and divinely appointed person of Senior Pastor Reginald D.
